Junior leaders are the backbone of our army. The success of a national contingent in any peace support operation largely depends on the proficiency of these junior Leaders. BIPSOT has designed a 4 weeks training package for the Junior Leaders, which includes 2 weeks dedicated language package with the purpose of training selected Warrant Officers and Non Commissioned Officers of our army.
The UNLOC is based on UN approved training curriculum with a number of Map Exercise on practical situations. This is a 2 weeks training package for the potential logistic officers. The aim is to prepare potential logistic officers on all aspects of UN logistics.
This is a training package of 02 weeks duration based on the training curriculum of STM 2 with a number of Map Exercises based on our common experience. The total vacancy is about 30 including foreign participants. The purpose is to train the potential officers for different staff appointments in UN missions or in national contingents.
This course is based on STM 2 syllabus which includes few Situation Training Exercise (STX) based on our experiences. The duration of the course is 3 weeks and the vacancy is 30 ( 20 local and 10 overseas participants). It is a UNDPKO recognized course.
BIPSOT has designed a comprehensive 03 weeks training package for the potential contingent commanders who are likely to be deployed soon in the mission area. The first UNCCC was conducted in Apr 2007, which was attended by 15 local and 02 overseas officers. The aim is to prepare the contingent commanders in all aspects of peace support operation and help them in taking the correct decision during a critical situation.
